Making sure your tenants are maintaining their HVAC in accordance with their lease is one of the most valuable ways to use Ravti. Ravti reaches out to your tenants on a regular basis (you decide the intervals) and makes sure that tenants are submitting their proof of service to Ravti in accordance with their lease. There are several steps to logistically implementing this software.
Here's the low down on the logistics of tenant compliance
Step 1. You give us a tenant roster with all of your tenants emails, their "maintenance status" and their required maintenance interval.
"Maintenance Status" just means who is responsible for the HVAC according to the lease. That status can only be one of two things:
- Landlord Responsible
- Tenant Responsible
Step 2. You send an intro email to your tenants informing them of the service (we have a template you can use).
Step 3. Click Enable Compliance (this is not activated by default) in the Facility Info page and you can start compliance for that facility.
We will then send 4 emails to each of the tenants, which will be recorded in your platform. (See below).
Each of those emails provides your tenants with a tokenized link. That means, this link is completely personalized for each of your tenants and sent over so that the Ravti system knows data and information about your tenants the second they click it.
This method ensures that we can tell you when tenants respond, view the link, and most importantly - submit their documents.
